We
first sought help for our 4 month old
Lab, Tucker, when we realized that
the puppy classes at the local pet
store hadn’t stopped the chewing, jumping
and barking. We were referred to Trainer
Rick, who trained us as well as our dog!
Before long Tucker heeled perfectly on
a leash, ignoring all distractions. He
also comes when called and, most important,
he’s stopped jumping on visitors.
With Rick’s guidance we turned
our little ball of energy into a relaxed,
happy and content companion ( Now,
if only Rick trained children! ).
I
hired Trainer Rick to help me with
my adorable, but Bratty Pekinese,
Mooshoo.
He’s 3 years old, very
bossy, stubborn and prone to
bark at everything.
Rick
got me in charge very quickly
and, with his methods, had Mooshoo
responding
to
my commands almost immediately.
Because of his understanding
of dogs and
their habits I highly recommend
Trainer Rick.
Trainer
Rick began training our German Sheppard,
Buddy, when Buddy was 7 months
old. Our puppy was very precocious:
He grabbed and played with everything,
he
jumped on all the furniture, he chewed
up a lot of nice things, he ran away
when we called him and he pulled
in every direction when we walked. We
needed a
lot of help.
After
our first lesson, Buddy began showing
improvement as we
used the skills Rick
taught us in command and consistency.
Today, Buddy is the best pet
we have ever owned. He displays no more
destructive
behavior, is well mannered with
visitors and is fun to walk and jog
with.
Trainer
Rick, I would like to thank
you for training our 9 and 5
year old dogs,
Corky and Toby. For the 3
months working with
my wife, myself and our 2
untrained, bratty little dogs you
not
only had plenty of patience, but
were
very
professional and fun at the
same time. We’ve
been out of training for
6 months and all 4 of us are still
doing
very well.
Thanks for everything.
Trainer
Rick showed me some simple concepts that
made an enormous
difference in my
dog’s behavior. Boomer is now a
calmer, better mannered dog – especially
when the doorbell rings! And
the possessiveness over food
and treats
is completely
gone. The best part is I can
apply my new knowledge
to other behavior as well.
Thanks to Trainer Rick, I am
truly a much
better
dog owner.
A
year and a half ago our family adopted
a 3+ year old Wippet
named Baron. Baron
was always very comfortable
with our family, but this wasn’t true with
anyone else, human or non-human. He’d
growl at people and dogs
all of the time and he
even snapped
at
a few.
So, I sought
help and found Trainer
Rick.
In just 8 weeks he brought
Baron and I from nervous
and fearful
walks to
casual, relaxing strolls.
Baron is now a friendly,
submissive dog and I know
how to keep him that way.
Thanks
Rick,
you’re
the best.
